How we make money

ClimateClicks is free to read and free to use. We plan to earn revenue through affiliate partnerships and lead referrals: if you request a quote from a solar, battery, or EV-charging installer through this site, the installer may pay us a referral fee. Some product links may also be affiliate links, meaning we earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you.

What that does not change

Our estimates and rankings are not for sale. Calculator math is documented and applies the same formulas regardless of any partner relationship. Articles are written from public program data and reporting, and we link primary sources so you can check our work. When a page contains an affiliate link or a referral form, we label it.

About our numbers

Earnings, savings, and payback figures across this site are illustrative estimates grounded in public reporting from sources such as Rewiring America, the U.S. Department of Energy, and utility program pages. They are not guarantees, quotes, or financial advice. Programs change and payouts vary by utility, location, equipment, and enrollment terms.

Editorial independence

ClimateClicks is independently owned and operated by Jameson Sansone. No utility, manufacturer, or installer reviews or approves our content before publication.
